  22. How does it apply to us?

  23. Galatians 3:6-7 Consider Abraham: "He believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.“Understand, then, that those who believe are children of Abraham.

  24. Galatians 3:9 So those who have faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith.

  25. Galatians 3:14 He redeemedus in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.

  26. Hebrews 11:11 By faith Abraham, even though he was past age—and Sarah herself was barren—was enabled to become a father because heconsidered him faithful who had made the promise.

  27. Romans 4:16 Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham's offspring—not only to those who are of the law but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all.
