Subtracting Integers • Change the problem to ADDITION. • (Keep, change, change) • Then use the rules of addition (the song!).
Extra Credit – This is not class work • Jan is twice as old as Bob. • The sum of their ages is 5 times Bob’s age less 48. • How old are Jan and Bob?
