  2. Do you agree or disagree with the law of smoking in public places? I agree with the law that prohibits smoking in public places in Kuwait. I think fine is a good way to start protecting the country from the danger of smoke. On the other hand I think this fine must be increased with time if we don’t notice any progress.

  3. when was that law issued ? why? • This law was issued in 1995 because they noticed that number of smokers in Kuwait is increasing. As a result the number of diseases that are related to smoking have also increased.

  4. What are the punishments or charges included in the law against those convicted or guilty in Kuwait? There is a fine that must be paid of KD 50 of anyone violates the rules.

  5. Do you agree or disagree with the law of smoking in the USA? . I totally agree with the prohibition of smoking in public areas. I think this is a good punishment beside the prices and increase taxes against tobacco is another way to prevent people from smoke.

  6. when was that law issued in America?why? • There are many laws in the USA that have been passed as an action on smoking but the first rule again smoking in public was issued in 1998 to reduce air pollution and to ensure the comfort of people in general especially in public places because it gather smokers and non-smokers together.

  7. What are the punishments or charges included in the law against those convicted or guilty? Fine against smoking can reach to up 1000 dollars.
