IEEE 802.18 Activities • Worked on an edited response to an ITU-R WP-5A document on 60 GHz • To be approved by the 802.11 WG • Discussed possible implications of proposed WP US-5B input to ITU WP4C on protection criteria for Aeronautical Mobile Telemetry (AMT) in the 5150 to 5250 MHz band • Discussed IEEE 802.11/18 need to get involved with the WFA Wi-Fi Direct issues in the 5 GHz DFS bands • Prepared ITU-R documents: • Submission to WP5A M2M (ITU-R non-IMT related) • Submission to WP5D on Reference Formats M.RSPEC (ITU-R IMT related) • Submission to WP5D on Vocabulary Terms Related to IEEE 802.16 (ITU-R IMT related) • Prepared a reply comments on the FCC7th Broadband Deployment NOI Rich Kennedy, Research In Motion
