Multiplication Fact Songs Directions on How To Use: Practice: Students learn songs. Once students learn songs, they utilize their ten fingers. For each number sung they hold up a finger (stick with one hand then another). Students should practice this multiple times. Until they can sing each song on their own and hold fingers up at the same time. Application: Students apply song and use of fingers when they are asked a multiplication problem. For example, if they are asked to answer 4X7, a student can sing the fours song and sing it until they sing the seventh number and are holding up their seventh finger. Or, the student could sing the sevens song and sing until they sing the fourth number and are holding up their fourth finger. ~Jillian Robertson 2013
