  3. History • A social network is a social structure made up of individuals (or organizations) called "nodes", which are tied (connected) by one or more specific types of interdependency, such as friendship, kinship, common interest, financial exchange, dislike, wledgeor prestige.

  4. Advantages of Social networks • People can find their friends. • Communicate from very large distances. • They can find new friends. • Sharing important information with a lot of people. • Social networks have become users favorite source of information

Disadvantages of social networks • Some people become addicts. • Children who are registering in social networks encounter problems that they shouldn’t know about • There are many stalkers on networks • The applications in social networks can be used for spamming. • There are some people who are connecting with other people to make fights(Trolling) etc.
