Precursor: Thanh Chung Nam Dinh school founded by the French in 1920; Through many changes, in 1959, the school was named after Le Hong Phong -Secretary General of Vietnam’s Communist Party; In 2003, it became the a gifted school of Nam Dinh province. Many reknown Politicians, Culture Activists, Scientists are alumni of the school; The school has received many honors:Hero unit in the renewal period;Labor Medals: First second, third Class; Independence Medal;many other awards from the Prime Minister; The school has the honour to welcome visits from many senior leaders of the Party, the State, the Ministry of Education.
