We, as a City, are free from the worry of paying for any of the costs of the cleanup.We are no longer a responsible party. For the most part!

Clean your home thoroughly, minimize the dust, wash hands after activities, remove shoes, replace old carpets or clean the ones you have, keep your car clean inside.Wear a dust mask when mowing.
The City of Blackwell can now pursue educational programs and continuing to open their City meeting up for discussion.

The harder we work together to understand our situation, will indirectly promote productive discussion to resolve the problems we face.
We will continue to work on the citizens behalf, testing soils, reporting medical problems, and stay involved with the EPA, CDC, and ODEQ.
