  2. Climate is sunny, dry, and hot. Like our southern California. A favorite tourist spot. MMMMMMMMMMM

  3. Capital is Marseille. Oldest city in France, founded 500 years B.C. Also, the largest port in France. Also, the birthplace of the French national anthem: La Marseillaise.

  4. Agriculture: with the warm climate, fruits and vegetables and wines

  5. Also grown are flowers from which you get internationally famous French PERFUME

  6. Industries include the PERFUME, oil refineries, naval construction projects, and tourism.

  7. Grasse is the main center of PERFUME production. (Mr. Gunter has been here. It DOES smell nice.)

  8. Avignon is an old city that has an old castle in which the schism popes stayed: Palais des Papes.

  9. Cannes is internationally famous for its annual film festival.

  10. La Camargue has horse and cattle ranches. A favorite haunt of cowboys in France. Also, a few rodeos and bullfights.

  11. A small country called Monaco is surrounded by PACDA and the Mediterranean Sea.
