  2. Plot • The story starts with our hero Cloud Striffe as he joins the terrorist group avalanche to blow up one of the city of Midgar’s Mako Reactors. Mako reactors and the city's was of making electricity. By taking a substance called mako out of the ground they can form that into an energy. However the planet needs mako to survive so that is the reason why avalanche have given themselves the mission of destroying each and every reactor on the planet. During Cloud’s adventures he meet many people who become his friends and find out that mako reactors are not the only thing that can destroy the planet.

  3. History • The game was realised on the 15/11/97 for the play station. Originally the game was intended to be brought out on the SNES but the game was too large memory wise to fit. This was due to its intense graphical quality and its extremely long story line. The game was created by Square a games company in Japan now Square Enix.
