GLOBALWARMING Greenhouse effect
In the last years there have been many changes in the global climate. That has been caused by global warming, chiefly produced by greenhouse emissions in the atmosphere, for man's blame.
According to the Kyoto protocol of 1997, greenhouse emissions had to be reduced. But in spite of it, as you can see from the graph, the evolution of the level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere continued to rise regularly.
These countries are the principal producers of CO2 pro capite. The USA and China didn’t agree to Kyoto protocol.
The increase of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere has caused a progressive rise of yearly average temperatures since from 19th century.
Before (1979) One of the most visible negative effect is the melting of the ice caused by the rise in temperature. In a few years we got this awful situation. After (2005)
The melting of the ice is causing the increase of the ocean level. Cities like Venice and Manhattan will be flooded in a few centuries.
