Force Analysis Front and Rear Suspension Shock Mounting • Front Suspension, shocks capable of exerting 1200 lbf max. • Rear Suspension, shocks capable of exerting 1250 lbfwith each wheel loaded to 500 lbs. • Rear Suspension shocks capable of 2200 lbf max, however this is unrealistic, will cause G force great enough to incapacitate driver.

  2. Force Analysis Front Suspension Shock Mounts 1.25” X .065” Tubing Stresses = 27 ksi, 55 ksi around sharp edges 1.25” X .120” Tubing Stresses = 55 ksi, 65 ksi around sharp edges

  3. Force Analysis Rear Suspension Shock Mounts 1.25” X .065” Tubing Stresses = 63 ksi, 92 ksi around sharp edges 1.00” X .035” Tubing Stresses = 45 ksi, 64 ksi around sharp edges
