  1. Combining Quadratics Objective: to select the correct method for solving a quadratic. Starter: Which one do I use? Use your whiteboards to tell me how you would attempt these questions.

  2. Some quick hints! Factorizing: (x+5)(x-4)=0 The formula: Completing the square: It's a square! Now complete it! Put it into the form (x+a)2 + b

  3. Quadratics Race. In teams of 2-3 You need to solve the problems to gain the clue cards. There are 6 clue cards to collect in total to solve the final problem. The first team to complete wins!
