Network Informations System (NIS):our main focus The netDV-NIS is a software system consisting of the base components geo informations system (GIS) and object information system (OBIS), which can be individually customized. OBIS as a subject data application The data: • pipeline objects without geographical characteristics (documents, administrations, pipe books) • pipeline objects with geographical characteristics will be extended by sheer subject data attributes (e.g. max. internal pressure of a pipe) The components: • pipeline navigator • object dialogs (entering buildings, etc.) • feature dialogs (closures, etc.)
