What’s it about? • Its about a little girl who took a survey to try and attend a all white school • The integration law was past • Ruby took a test to prove she could go • White people fought against it • There were times she was harassed and didn’t want to go but pushed through • She gave other black children hope and eventually integrated a lot of schools • Now she travels with her first white teacher to schools to tell her story and how she helped integrate schools all over
