Dr. David Morrow was born in Philadelphia and raised in the steel town of McKeesport, Pennsylvania. His mother’s philosophy with regard to helping her community was “there is always enough.” She took this saying to heart, housing, clothing, and feeding European refugees from World War II. Some of these refugees stayed for years with the Morrows, who helped them find jobs and created opportunities for a new start for them in the United States.
