Evangelism:Transforming Congregations – Engaging Communities Evening Worship Friday, November 4th – 7 PM
Silent Meditation Out of faith, we reach out to your world. We have made mistakes, but we have learned. Out of our passion, we extend ourselves. We have sown seeds of justice, love and peace. God of hope and promise, continue to use us as Your instruments with eyes of wisdom. Keep us grounded in mission and blooming in faith.
Gathering Music • Rev. Yvette Flunder and Gideon Lawson
Love Divine All Love Excelling Love divine, all loves excelling, Joy of heaven on earth be found; Fix in us a humble dwelling; All your faithful mercies crown! Jesus, you are all compassion, Pure unbounded love impart; Visit us with your salvation; Enter every trembling heart.
Love Divine All Love Excelling Breathe, O breathe your loving Spirit, Into every troubled breast! Let us all in you inherit; Let us find your promised rest. Take away our love of sinning; Alpha and Omega be; End of faith, as its Beginning, Set our hearts at liberty.
Love Divine All Love Excelling Come, Almighty to deliver, Let us all your life receive; Suddenly return and never, Never more your temples leave. You we would be always blessing, Love you as your angels love, Pray and praise for your unfailing, wounded arms outstretched above.
Love Divine All Love Excelling Finish, then, your new creation; Pure and spotless me we prove. Let us see your great salvation Perfectly restored in you; Changed from glory into glory, 'Til in heaven we take our place, Crowned as saints, we ever shall be lost in wonder, love, and praise.

Gospel Scripture • 1 John 4:7-12 Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God; everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, for God is love. God’s love was revealed among us in this way: God sent his only Son into the world so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins. Beloved, since God loved us so much, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God lives in us, and his love is perfected in us.

I Love to Tell the Story I love to tell the story of unseen things above, of Jesus’ radiant glory, of Jesus’ endless love. I love to tell the story, because I know it’s true; it satisfies my longings as nothing else can do. I love to tell the story, and when I am in glory, I’ll tell the old, old story of Jesus and his love.
I Love to Tell the Story I love to tell the story; more wonderful it seems than all the golden visions of all our golden dreams. I love to tell the story, I tell it now to you because I want to share it, because I know it’s true. I love to tell the story, and when I am in glory, I’ll tell the old, old story of Jesus and his love.
I Love to Tell the Story I love to tell the story; it’s pleasant to repeat what seems, each time I tell it, more wonderfully sweet. I love to tell the story, for some have never heard the message of salvation from God's own holy Word. I love to tell the story, and when I am in glory, I’ll tell the old, old story of Jesus and his love.
I Love to Tell the Story I love to tell the story, for those who know it best seem hungering and thirsting to hear it like the rest. And when, I sing in glory, I know the new, new song, will be the old, old story that I have loved so long. I love to tell the story, and when I am in glory, I’ll tell the old, old story of Jesus and his love.
