What is smart city • Smart city is an integrated city managed on advanced technology in a secured manner to manage the assets – city’s local departmental stores, information desks, kid’s school, libraries, transport system, hospitals, power generation, and basic amenities & required services. The mission of smart city is to improve quality of life by latest technology and improve the services for residents.

  6. Smart city Budget • In the 2014-15 Budget Session, the Finance Minister of India Mr. Arun Jaitely is allotted the 7,060 Crores of Rupees for the 100 Smart Cities. The Indian Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi is going to develop the 100 Smart Cities as Satellite Towns of Larger Cities by modernizing the present Cities.  

  7. India First Smart City • India’s First Smart City have been planned in Delhi, The Capital Of India under the direct supervision of Prime Minister, Mr. NarendraModi . A land of approx 32000 acres nearby Dwarka is being developed for Smart City which will be well connected with Lifeline of Delhi Transport i.e. Delhi Metro , IGI Airport , planned transport system & KMP Expressway. This city will be next hub for education and hospitality with AIIMS coming in nearby vicinity. Diplomat Area will also be main highlight of this L Zone which will play a vital role in being most secured area having 3 tier security levels.

  8. Smart City Challenges The India Smart Cities Challenge is a competition designed to inspire and support municipal officials as they develop smart proposals to improve residents' lives. Cities will compete in the first round – with the best proposals receiving funding from the Ministry of Urban Development.
