  2. iExpress Dancing Silhouettes • Create your own iconographic iPod commercial! • You will need a digital photograph and Adobe Photoshop Elements • Click the links below to follow the easy steps! Step Two Step Three Step One Step Four Step Five Movies

  3. Step One • Take a digital photograph of yourself • Choose a pose that shows you expressing yourself in some way • Use a solid color background Choosing your picture Home

  4. Step Two • In Elements use the magic wand to select the figure • Click delete to erase the background • Use the eraser tool to remove any small pieces of the background that remain Erasing the background Look for marching ants! Then click delete Home

  5. Step Three If your background turned black you forgot to click inverse • While your portrait is still selected choose the inverse function • Select the color black • Use the fill selection tool to fill your portrait to create the silhouette Creating the silhouette Home

  6. Step Four • Create a new layer called background color. Pick your color and use the fill tool to complete • Create a third layer and use the text tool to type in your iPhrase • Name your last layer silhouette Creating layers Home

  7. Step Five • Rearrange the layers so they are in this order: background, silhouette, iPhrase • Go to layers and flatten the image • You’re done – save! Putting it all together Home
