I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be blessing.” The LORD had said to Abram, “Leave your country, your people and your father’s household and go to the land I will show you.” I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curse you I will curse ; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” I will make your name great. INTRODUCTION Five Way of God’s Blessings. • Worshiping God. • Tithing to God. • Supporting God’s Workers. • Honoring your parents. • Obeying God’s Words.
I. WORSHIPING GOD “Worship the LORD your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you, and none will miscarry or be barren in your land. I will give you a full life span.” (Cuotv I^yipv 23:25-26 – Exodus 23:25-26)
II. TITHING TO GOD Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house says the Lord Almighty. Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the Floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it. “I will prevent pests from devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not cast their fruit,” says the LORD Almighty.” (Maa^laa^ki 3:10-11 – Malachi 3:10 -11)
III. SUPPORTING GOD’S WORKERS The best of all the first fruits and of all your special gifts will belong to the priests. You are to give them the first portion of your ground meal so that a blessing may rest on your household.” (E^saa^ken 44:30 - Ezekiel 44:30)
IV. HONORING YOUR PARENTS “Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the LORD your God is giving you.” (Exodus 20:12).
V. OBEYING GOD Blessed are all who fear the LORD, who walk in his ways. You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours. Your wife will be like a fruitful Vine within your house; your sons will be like Olive Shoots around your table. (Singx Nzung 128:1-3 – Psalms 128:1-3)
Thus is the man blessed who fears the LORD. May the LORD bless you from Zion all the days of your life; may you see the prosperity of Jerusalem, and may you live to see your children’s children. Peace be upon Israel. (Psalms 128:4-6 –Singx Nzung 128:4-6)
CONCLUSION 1. The LORD will send a blessing on your barns and on Everything you put your hand to. The LORD your God will bless you in the land he is giving you.” (Deuteronomy 28:8). 2.The blessing of the LORD brings wealth, and he adds no trouble to it.”(Proverbs 10:22).
