  2. A breast lift (mastopexy) addresses sagging and uneven breasts, drooping nipples and wide areolas (the dark area surrounding the nipples). This procedure recreates a more youthful shape and lifts your breasts to a higher more appealing position. Breast lifting also makes your areolas appear more youthful since a breast lift usually reduces your areolar size. After childbirth, massive weight loss, or simply with age, breasts tend to droop and sag downwards.
