The following are some of the advantages of laparoscopic adjustable gastric banding: 1.Least invasive procedure Like traditional lap band surgery, this procedure can reduce the amount of food that the stomach can hold and makes one feel full fast. But unlike traditional surgery, a laparoscopic adjustable gastric banding procedure won't remove a large part of the stomach or reroute the intestines.
