  1. Ayurveda Tips For Hair Fall And Dandruff Vataconstituted people have dry, thin, dark, coarse, curly and scanty hairs. Pitta constituted people are characterized by fine, soft, blond, reddish or brownish hair that tends to grey soon. Kapha Types usually have oily, dark or dark brown, strong as well as more hairs. The normal cycle of hair growth lasts for 4-5 years. Each hair grows approximately 15 centimetres per year during this phase. Kapha body types have faster growth and longer growth phase of up to 7 years which results them in having long hair till their hips. About 90 per cent of the hair on your scalp is growing at any one time. About 10 per cent of the hair is in a resting phase. After 2-3 months, the resting hair falls out and new hair starts to grow in its place. It is normal to shed some hair each day, as part of this cycle. Hair loss may occur if your hormone levels are out of balance. Hormone-related hair fall may also result from an increased sensitivity of hair follicles to androgens (Pitta imbalance) or due to a greater number of Androgen receptors attached to hair follicles. This is the component that is inherited through the genes – termed as Pitta constitution. The presence of scalp inflammation and excess oiliness of the scalp may be aggravating your hair fall.
