What next? • Spanish network for Astronomy public outreach • Organizer: National Commission of Astronomy (CNA) • Goals: • To perpetuate the IYA2009 spirit and goals for the future • To continue some of the main IYA2009 initiatives • Strategy: • Maximum publicity to all astronomy outreach activities in Spain • (web, interactive agenda, media, etc) • Astronomical traditions (e.g. star parties, measuring the Earth’s radius, 100 Hours of Astronomy) • Astronomical events (solar eclipses, Perseids, etc)
