Reflections Activities Each day pick from the options below during your Tutor Time. Fighting for peace: Mandela Sadly last Thursday Nelson Mandela a much respected and loved leader died. He made possible the reconciliation of South Africa for peace. Now there is hope, prosperity and a continuing working for peace. What would be your daring vision to enable peace around the world? • Peace in the rush • In our thought for the week, we think about the chaos that comes in preparing for Christmas and how we can ensue peace within that rush. • As a tutor group/individual think of a way that in this coming week that you could make that peace in the current rush. • Advent Crown: Peace • Go round the tutor group and have everyone say one thing that gives them a sense of peace. • Then reflect on why it gives you that sense of peace. • Prayer • Dear Lord, • As we prepare for Christmas may we be a presence of peace in among the rush and chaos in our world. May we change the world around us this advent time so we focus on what is important and not material. • Amen • Carol • (Feel free to sing along or just listen and reflect .) • Silent Night • http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GD3UIH3kM3o
