This class will teach students about computer components, troubleshooting, touch typing, and Neshaminy's technology guidelines.   7. Computer Troubleshooting • Check for power • Verify URL • Close and reopen website or app • Try using a different web browser • Log in issues:   • Forgotten or incorrect username/password • Caps lock • Num lock • Report to teacher:  Virus warnings, popups and music playing in the background

  8. Touch Typing Practice at home is encouraged Practice during Clinic or WIN • Typing without looking at the keys • Learn Home Row 1st

  11. Neshaminy’s AUP Use of Neshaminy School District technology tools is a privilege and it is the responsibility of each user to use these services appropriately.

  12. Chromebooks District Technology Pledge Your device is subject to inspection AT ANY TIME WITHOUT NOTICE. Each student user agrees to follow Neshaminy's Acceptable Use Policy and guidelines when using technology devices. • Know where your Chromebook is AT ALL TIMES: • Never leave your device unattended. • Never loan it to anyone. • Fully charge Chromebook at home. • Keep food and drinks away from Chromebook. • Don't leave Chromebook in a parked car. • NO stickers, markers, scratches or removing District labels. • Use for educational purposes only.

Classroom Expectations Happy Class • Arrive to class before the bell rings. • Class begins when you enter the room. • Sit in your assigned seat and log in. • Report any computer problems to me a.s.a.p. • Keep your hands to yourself. • No touching others. • No trying to repair computers. • Ask permission to leave the room. • Sign out sheet must be used. • Stay in your assigned seat until dismissed from class. • Log out when class is over. • Remember to push in your chair and leave your desk tidy.
