What? • Adopt teaching and leadership standards • Refine and adopt research-based rubric for observation and feedback • Train principals/observers in Inter-Rater Reliability • Implement a four level rating system

When? • All 252 Districts are piloting in 2012-2013 • All 252 Districts submitted evaluation design proposals last week • Vetted and reviewed by Chalkboard and ODE next week • Each district will have volunteer teachers pilot new system between now and June • All Oregon Districts required to implement in 2013-2014
