  8. Nonrenewable/Renewable Resources • Renewable Resource: a natural resource that can be replaced at the same rate at which the resource is consumed • Nonrenewable Resource: a resource that forms at a rate that is much slower than the rate at which it is consumed

  14. Human Population Growth • The human population exhibits exponential growth. • As more people move around, more natural resourced are needed. • Eventually, the resources may become depleted and pollution level may rise.
