  2. The 2012 SNRS conference will be in New Orleans! • Many of you may not know that on August 26, 2005, the SNRS program committee met in New Orleans to plan to 2006 conference. • However….

  3. A little event called Katrina had different plans!

  4. The city was devastated…

  5. But we showed the nation and the world that are a strong and resilient people! And nurses were leading voices…

  6. Nurses are major contributors as educators, clinicians and…

  7. As primary investigators…

  8. As Interdisciplinary Co-investigators

  9. Recovery!

  10. We want you to know that we are back! There are lots of historical and contemporary attractions…

  11. The best food you’ll ever eat! New Orleans has 1,119 restaurants! Emeril’s New Orleans

  12. We are the new Hollywood South! Second Line Stages, the first green independent stages in the United States, has opened its doors in the Lower Garden District of New Orleans. Record-breaking business over the past four years Louisiana pioneered film tax credits creating unprecedented growth outside traditional Hollywood locations A few examples:
