Many Political Action Committees ,though, use lobbyists to influence government officials. • Economic interest, characteristics and special cause. 3. The laws require a lobbyists to state their employer, salary, and how the money is spent. There is a limit on money amount given to candidates.

While the media has the right to publish without prior restraint, the government so able to keep certain information classified for the greater good. • 3.Lobbyists attempt to sway the government official’s view on a problem to their group’s opinion by informing he or she of certain facts that create the perception that the lobbyist wants.
