PCR controls RAD54-T2 RAD54-T2 WT WT Plasmid GDNA No DNA + - + - + - + - RAD54 Primers (S. cerevisiae gene) Actin Primers (A.thaliana gene) Supplementary Figure 2: RT-PCR with primers for ScRAD54 and AtActin. Shown are results from two T2 transgenic plants harbouring ScRAD54 (out of 10 analyzed) compared with two WT (not transgenic) plants. Each sample underwent the RT reaction either with (+), or without (-) the RT enzyme, as a control. PCR controls: -Plasmid- ScRAD54 clone (plasmid template). -GDNA- genomic wild-type Arabidopsis thaliana DNA. -No DNA. The AtActin primers were used to ensure cDNA presence.
