  6. HOTM link to farmer of the month • Introduce the farmer, and share fund facts • Talk about the farm and how the food grows • Talk about what local means and the importance of eating local • Write a letter to the farmer describing their experience and asking questions

Educational Marketing Materials • Youth are exposed to lots of messages around health, nutrition, local food, but have not internalized them yet • They want to assert individualism and try new things, but still affected by peer influences • Positive attitude and appearance are indicators of health • Messaging around new, fun, and social
