  2. Through this novel we will review the elements of the plot diagram. We are doing this because your final exam grade will be a short story that you write, and it must involve the different aspects of the plot diagram

Exposition • The exposition comes at the beginning of the story • The exposition introduces three things: • Setting • Main characters • Main Conflict • For your quiz, you need to be able to identify all of the above elements and relate them to Unwind • What is the setting of Unwind? (Think time and place/state) • Who are our main characters? • What is the major conflict for each of our characters? What kind of conflict is EACH of them facing? (Man vs. World, Man vs. Self, Man vs. Man) Hint: Lev’s conflict is different from Risa and Connor’s. Come see me if you need help with this 
