DU LLB Entrance Exam - Delhi University LLB Entrance Exam 2019 DU LLB Entrance Exam 2019 Overview Delhi University will release the application form for DU LLB 2019 Entrance exam in the first week of June. DU LLB entrance exam will be held online for two hours across six cities in India. The test carries 400 marks. On the basis of merit and cutoff, candidates will be called for counselling. Delhi University conducts DU LLB Entrance Exam in order to shortlist aspirants for admission in LLB programmes offered by it. As many as 2658 seats are filled through this exam. Programmes offered at Delhi University’s Faculty of Law are LLB, LLM (2 years) and LLM (3 years). To shortlist aspirants for admission in LLM course offered by the varsity, candidates need to appear for DU entrance exam. Delhi University (DU) colleges that accept DU LLB entrance exam scores are Campus Law Centre, Law Centre-I and Law Centre-II. Last year, DU LLB exam was conducted on June 17, 2018 (from 12 pm to 2 pm) and DU LLM exam was held on June 18, 2018 (from 8 am to 10 am). DU LLB Entrance Exam 2019 Eligibility Aspirants need to meet DU LLB entrance exam 2019 eligibility criteria as mentioned by Faculty of Law, Delhi University. Aspirants are informed that they meet the eligibility criteria for DU LLB entrance exam 2019 only if they have completed their graduation from a recognized Indian University/Foreign University/Equivalent institution from any stream. Also, candidates in the final year of their graduation/post- graduation are eligible to apply for DU LLB entrance exam. However, such aspirants will be offered admission on a provisional basis (which will be subject to their clearing their degree examinations). Apart from the above, additional eligibility criteria that aspirants need to fulfill in order to secure admission in DU LLB programme is as mentioned below: For General Category Candidates: Such aspirants should possess a graduation/post- graduation degree from Delhi University or any other recognized Indian/foreign university with atleast 50% aggregate marks.

  2. For OBC Category Candidates: Such aspirants should possess a graduation/post- graduation from a recognised university with atleast 45% aggregate marks. For SC/ST Category Candidates: Such aspirants should possess a graduation/post- graduation from a recognised university with atleast 40% aggregate marks. For CW Category Candidates: Candidates who fall under widows/wards of ex- servicemen/serving personnel (CW) category are given a 5% marks relaxation, that is, they will be eligible to appear for DU LLB entrance exam 2019 if they have secured 45% aggregate marks in their qualifying examination. For PH Category Candidates: Such aspirants should possess a graduation/post- graduation with atleast 45% aggregate marks. Informing the same the official website of DU states: “Relaxation of up to 5% marks in the minimum eligibility prescribed for general candidates will be allowed to the candidates belonging to physically handicapped (PH) category on the recommendations of the Medical Board as per the prescribed procedure”.
