BWD reporting for 2010 season: (Item 4b). Purpose.

Purpose • further clarification of attributes in the Data Dictionary: WISE - Bathing Water Quality Reporting under Directive 2006/7/EC: improvement of some attribute definitions (and values of codelists) in order to clarify issues and avoid misunderstanding • how to report significant management measures (to facilitate collection of information for national reports)
Attr. “BathingWaterCategory” and “SpecGeoCon” If you find needed or interesting, provide subtypes of lake: natural lakes, reservoirs, ponds … (supply annex) If you choose so, describe constraints in separate document (as annex) Inventory of bathing waters table
Status calculation by GDEM is proposed! Attr. “Class” and “Changes” Describe what kind of changes they are (attr. ManMeas or …). Frequency criteria (31 - 41 days…) Updated: closed, but existing (BWTYPE), re-opened; Seasonal information on bathing waters table

Different ways of reporting of significant management measures 1) The same information is provided for each BW. Here web page links to profiles can be given or links to other documents
2) DE: Different information for individual BWs…ETCW appreciates, but, summaries for national BW report are welcomed.
