11. Example 2 • 2nd year student - passed 100 credits, 20 credits @38 • If compensatable - P • If non-compensatable - DDR • (student may wish to be DDR)

12. Example 3 • Year 1 student - passed 40, 80 credits between 36 and 39 • Result - F or FREP • (failed more than 60 at first attempt)

13. Example 4 • Year 2 student - passed 80, 20 credits @ 38, 20 credits @ 22 • Result - PREF (and PC the 38) or TRO -exam bd discretion • IF still has 40 credits of PC/REF left from max.

14. Example 5 • Final year student, passed 120, referred module from Y2 @ 27 • Result - DDR • Can’t condone Y2 module

15. Example 6 • Direct entrant Y3 - passed 80, 20 credits @ 38, 20 credits @ 32 • Result - DDR • Must pass 120 credits for award - Y3 direct entrants cannot condone

16. Example 7 • Year 2 student - passed 60 credits, ADA for 40 credits, 20 credits @ 32 • Result - DDR • Student will take 3 assessments in August - 1 resit and 2 1st attempts

17. Example 8 • Final year student - passed 80 credits, 40 credits ADA due to serious ongoing illness • Result – DDI, Ordinary degree, or module board to consider “pass with mitigation” and award degree

18. Example 9 • Diploma Stage student with 40 credits PC in Cert Stage • 60 credits passed, 40 credits at 38, 1 mark ADA • Result – DDR, as too many already PC

19. Example 10 • Student at Diploma Stage, having taken resits • 60 credits passed, 60 credits with mark 35-39 • Result – Transfer to Ordinary – too many to PC
