Hold and Release Inventory. WcBc is configured for Multiple types of Holding and Releasing of Inventory and here are a few of them. Hold Units by Item, Lot, and Location Hold Units by Unit Id Release Units by Item, Lot, and Location Release Units by Unit Id.

  1. Hold and Release Inventory • WcBc is configured for Multiple types of Holding and Releasing of Inventory and here are a few of them. • Hold Units by Item, Lot, and Location • Hold Units by Unit Id • Release Units by Item, Lot, and Location • Release Units by Unit Id

  2. Hold Units by Item, Lot, and Location 1) 2) 3) 1) Scan the Item from the Product. If the Item was Lot Controlled then the next prompt would be the Lot Number. 2) Scan the Inventory Location. Function Keys F5=Inventory Inquiry 3) The Transaction Accepted with the Unit Id will be displayed for 2 seconds. This transaction will update the Lot Status in the Summary Available and Hold all the Units for the Item, Lot, and Location with the same Status. ¹ See the Rules for Entering/Scanning Item numbers.

  3. Hold Unit Ids 1) 2) 1) Enter or Scan the Unit Id to Hold. This can be any type of Containment. 2) The Transaction Accepted with the Unit Id will be displayed for 2 seconds. ¹ See the Rules for Entering/Scanning Unit Ids.

  4. Release Units by Item, Lot, and Loc. 1) 2) 3) 1) Scan the Item from the Product. If the Item was Lot Controlled then the next prompt would be the Lot Number. 2) Scan the Location. Function Keys F5=Inventory Inquiry 3) Enter the Inventory Status. In this case the Inventory Status would be blanks so you can press the Enter key to Release the Unit Ids. ¹ See the Rules for Entering/Scanning Item numbers.

  5. Release Units by Item, Lot, and Loc. 4) 4) The Transaction Accepted with the Item will be displayed for 2 seconds. This transaction will update the Lot Status in the Summary Available and Release all the Units for the Item, Lot, and Location with the same Status.
