  2. How To Add fractions • Make sure the bottom number (denominators) are the same. • Add the top numbers (the numerators) and put them on the denominator. • Simplify the fraction (if needed.) For Example: ¾ + 6/10 = ? Follow the easy steps to get the answer of 54/40 Or to simplify it make it 1 14/40

  3. How To Subtract Fractions • Make sure the bottom numbers or denominators are the same. • Subtract the top numbers or numerators and put it over the denominator. • Simplify the problem. For example: ¾ - ½ = ? Follow the easy steps to get the answer of ¼. 4 x 2 = 8 (3x2=6) (1x4=4) 6-4=2 2/8 = ¼ (simplified)

  4. How To Multiply Fractions! • Multiply the top numbers • Multiply the bottom numbers • Simplify the problem For Example: ½ x 2/5 = ? Follow the easy steps to get the answer of 2/10 1x2=2 2/? 2x5=10 2/10
