  4. Gods And Religions • India has many gods because of there different religions these • Gods include Ganesha and Vishnu.

  5. Rivers and mountains • The five main rivers of India are Ganges, Yamuna, Sutlej , Bhramaputra and Kaveri • The Himlayas,Karakoram, • Aravalli and myanmar are just some of indias mountain ranges

  6. Festivals • Indian festivals include Diwali , Ganesh Chaturthi , • Holi are the best known.

  7. government • India has a democratic government and it is also the largest democratic government in the world. • The leader of the Indian government is Man Mohan Singh who has been • in charge since May 2004.

  8. Life in India • Most people in India are farmers but they also manufacture iron , steel and other goods

  9. Regions and their climates There are four main regions in India the north , the south , the east and the west. These regions each have a different climate; the north region has the coldest climate, the eastern region has a hot climate. The southern region has a hot tropical climate and the western region has a tropical dry climate.

  10. Languages There is many different languages in India such as Kashmiri and Hindi but those are only two of the 844 dialects in India.

  11. India's flag • Saffron represents courage and sacrifice • White represents peace • Green represents faith and finally the Dharma Chakra means progress.

  12. Symbols of India • India has many different emblems such as their national animal the tiger and their national bird the peacock. Their national emblem is the Sarnath lion their national tree is the fig tree they even have a national fruit the mango and finally their national sport is hockey. India's national flower the lotus flower.

  13. Wildlife • India's most endangered species is the dhole, a fox like creature which lives in south and south-east India. Here are some of • India's interesting animals include the tiger, the elephant and the snow leopard.

  14. Clothes in India Women Women wear sarees on there heads and shalwar Kameez on there body’s. Men • Men in India wear turbans on there heads and wear kurtas over there body’s.

  15. Food India is famous for its curries spices and all sorts of food. There many different spices give there food an exquisite taste, so it s no wonder they are renowned for there food.

  16. India's most famous landmarkthe Taj mahal The Taj mahal is India’s most famous landmark hundreds of years ago the sultan of India built the taj mahal for his wife to stay in there was supposed to be two but they ran out of time.

  17. Changing India India is changing with more advanced technology better government and new architecture so we can be sure that India is getting more advanced every day.

  18. New India Modern day India has more electricity better democracy and better houses.

  19. Old India Old India was very different to the India we know today because old India had no electricity and had different building techniques and different cooking methods.
