  8. Set up devices • An initial device: apps, eBooks, settings are setup • The profile is copied to all the other devices • The device is registered • Batteries are charged

  13. Set up devices Apply backup to all devices

  14. Set up devices Test selection from all devices

  17. Device acquaintance and training • Users are given time to use the device without any specific goals • Users are shown how to use the device for the purpose of the course / project

  24. Updates and maintenance • Updates and maintenance are performed as needed locally (partial maintenance remotely)

  28. Upon return • Data can be backed up locally if necessary • Devices are wiped to remove data privacy concerns
