History of WECF’s Coordination Role • Funded 1992 after Rio summit • Major network in EECCA • WECF elected lead of women’s major groups at UNEP and CSD • WECF organising partner of “women and gender constituency” at UNFCCC

Recommendations cont. - general • PP is not always enshrined in general rules • Representativeness: guidelines for internal structures of major groups • Speaking rights (e.g. interventions) should be improved
