STSA STUDY What is STSA?? Story Telling and Story Acting activity
How was it conducted • Read a book • Try to change voice tones to represent different characters in the book (This helps the kids to like the story, follow and pay attention and comprehend ) • Ask them questions about the story hard • Ask then questions that requires them to think
Appreciate even when the answer is wrong, but they should know its wrong • When some one gives the right answer, sing a song to praise them or clap in a special way for them
DRAWING WITH CRAYONS • Ask if any one would like to tell a story • collect stories as others continue drawing • Underline characters in the story as the author watch you do this! • Drawing with crayons helps the other kids stay focused and silent
PLAY THE STORIES • We need • Play ground (triangle) • Read the story of each individual aloud • Let the author pick who s/he want to play like a certain character in his/her story. • Read the story again (slow!) • Each character will play his/her role
Do the same to every story • DONE
