Sound Recording • A record cost 75 cents to 1 dollar. • My grandma said her favorite artists to listen to were Elvis and The Platters. • I asked my grandma What did your parents think about records and record players? Radio • I asked my grandma What do you remember about your experience with radio? She said “I remember listing to Soap Operas.” • I asked my grandma When were they on, and why did you like them? I listened to them in the evening, they were very entertaining story’s.
Television/Cable • A television back then cost about one hundred dollars • I asked my grandma What was it like when TV became available? She said “It was fascinating.
