  1. RPC'S MUON TRIGGER IN LAST DAYS OF CRUZET (preliminary)‏ M. Gorski, Warsaw for the RPC team Topics: 1) Status of the RPC chambers 2) Status of the muon trigger

  2. Status of the RPC chambers Green – 4 wheels with HV/LV on Readout and trigger in four towers only

  3. Current values – stable in time One sector – an example, 4 days peaks – ramping up chambers

  4. Gas system – operation of all wheels stable with final system in closed mode only one stop because of liquid mass flow control failure

  5. Status of the trigger electronics Problems encountered since some time: Resetting of LBOX FPGAs Errors in readout Spikes in trigger rate

  6. New firmware for FPGAs produced and installed turnaround of updating - basically 1 update/day due to: - long VHDL compilation and - long reloading procedure Data taking with Minidaq started Friday 11.07

  7. RPC TRIGGER RATE VS TIME

  8. BX DISTRIBUTIONS FOR RPC'S 3 CHAMBERS 4 CHAMBERS 5 CHAMBERS 6 CHAMBERS TRIGGER FROM RPC'S ONLY

  9. BX DISTRIBUTION FROM RPC'S 4 CH. 3 CH. 6 CH. 5 CH. NON-RPC TRIGGER

  10. No readout errors encountered, No nonexistent partitions present More work needed on synchronization Further checks on system stability Inclusion of endcaps
