WHAT IS THE COMPETITIVE PLAY COMMITTEE? • The Competitive Play Committee is responsible for the following: • LUFC Evaluations and Tryouts • LUFC Policy Oversight • Conflict Resolution • DOC Review / Contract Renewal
CPC EVALUATION AND TRYOUT OVERSIGHT • The CPC is responsible for successful Tryouts and Evaluations This includes: • Dates • Logistics • Communication • Registration • Results • Compile Lessons Learned from Board • Implement Improvements • The CPC will work with the DOC to: • Compile Results • Communicate Team Placement
CPC POLICY OVERSIGHT • The Competitive Play Committee is responsible for LUFC policy oversight. This Includes: • Annual Review of Existing Policies • Updating / Adding or Deleting Policies • Recommending New Policies to the Board • Policy Awareness / Communication • Coaches • Team Managers • Parents
CPC Conflict Resolution • The CPC is responsible for Conflict Resolution. This Includes: • Establishing consistent procedures & protocols • Consistent adherence to LUFC Policies & Procedures • Escalation Process • Fair Conflict Resolution • Board Awareness
CPC DOC REVIEW The CPC is responsible for the DOC Review. This includes: • Feedback • Obtaining Post Season Feedback • Compiling Post Season Feedback • Presenting Post Season Feedback to the Board • Review Employment Contract • Provide Recommendations for contract updates • Work with legal team to adjust contract as necessary
Define Clear Roles and Responsibilities • Tasks related to player development • Team Formation Guidelines • Conflict Resolution Guidelines related to player development • Team Placement Guidelines • Self Select vs. Competitive Play / DOC Recommended
