Note the order Jesus gives us… Matthew 28:18-20 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore 1.go and make disciplesof all nations, 2.baptizing themin the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and 3.teaching them to obeyeverything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

  3. 1. LIVE UP ! My Identity in Christ Philippians 3:15-16 15 All of us who are mature should take such a view of things. And if on some point you think differently, that too God will make clear to you. 16 Only let us live up to what we have already attained.

  5. LIVE UP to who you are in Christ! 2 Corinthians 1:21-22 21 Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, 22 set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.

My Daily Patterns for Christ Philippians 3:17-19 17 Join with others in following my example, brothers, and take note of those who live according to the pattern we gave you. 18 For, as I have often told you before and now say again even with tears, many live as enemies of the cross of Christ. 19 Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is on earthly things.

  8. 3. LIVE EXPECTANTLY ! My Motivation seeing Christ Philippians 3:20-21 20 But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, 21 who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.

  9. Citizenship in Heaven… Luke 10:20 However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven." Phil 4.3“names are in the book of life”, Heb 12:23 “names are written in heaven”, Rev 13:8 “names written in the book of life”, Rev 21:27 “names written in the Lamb’s book of life”, 1Pet 1:4 “Inheritance kept in heaven for you”, Mt 5:12 “great is reward in heaven Acts 1:11b “… This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven."

  11. Now What? LIVE UP to who you are in Christ! LIVE OUT in daily spiritual disciplines! LIVE EXPECTANTLY eagerly awaiting Jesus’ return!
