  2. My Campaign No clear structure to campaigning at Manchester. Campaigns budgets set based on policy. No money allocated to student-led campaigns. No transparency New funding system created with staff. Based budget on term time months. Divided into different campaigns. Funding bids are now submitted to Exec.

  4. My Campaign Nearly 50 separate bids submitted online. £18,000 of funding has been allocated. Bids range from £20 to £1000. Average bid of £300.

  5. Activist Academy Set up to provide training to anyone running a campaign, or wants to learn extra skills. Sessions in planning, lobbying, PR, overcoming ‘apathy’ consensus decision making and public speaking. Run by SU staff and external organisations.
