  2. The high productiveness under the conditions of small gross and low specific material capacity is the distinguishing peculiarity of the ETE of continuous operation. Their promoted productiveness is considerably reached at the expense of distribution of functions of soil cutting and displacement between the working bodies – knives and conveyors.

  3. The complexity and inefficiency of soil displacement from cutting elements to the transportation engine could also be determined as the common for all types of the ETE of continuous operation cutting systems. The dependence of force for soil cutting from working bodies from traction characteristics of the ETE is the common disadvantage for the above mentioned working bodies for soil cutting.

  6. Summary. 1. Promotion of the ETE of continuous operation efficiency by means of application of active working bodies providing full output of the equipment and effective displacement of cut soil to the transport engine is an actual issue for the contemporary construction and road building engineering. 2. The engineering solution of film-slitting-tossing working body in the form of spiral screws with cutting elements is proposed.
