  2. The origin • It is based of the history of our island • In 19th century coffe drinking became popular in Kärdla town • In 2007 two ladies came to an idea to promote the town by this historic story • LEADER has supported cafe days since 2009 • http://xn--kohvikutepev-pcb.ee/et

  3. One-day pop-up cafes • In 2018 there was 40 cafe all over the island during 4 days • Also people were invaited to pop-up meals at Hiiumaa homes • Rural Flavours Hiiumaa event in 2019 will be pop-up Mediterranian lunch fo 40 people

  4. Joint cooking • The event for the project partners will be an experience of joint cooking supervised by a chef • Hiiumsa will provide most of the products • Partners are expected to make input to form the menue and bring some key ingrdience from home land

  5. Hiiumaa agenda • 1st of August - Arrival to Tallinn and Hiiumaa • 2nd of August – seminar Local legends marketing area and site visits • 3rd of August – SC meeting, joint cooking and event: Mediterranian lunch at 15.00, evening progam • 4th of August – depature or site visits.
