ISGC 2006 Summary • Modern development of seismic instrumentation, IT and communication make it possible to establish an efficient and reliable real-time data acquisition systems and virtual data centers. • Huge amount of seismic data archiving/sharing play as the basis of the modern seismological research. • Demands in rapid seismic data sharing and processing require intensive collaboration between Taiwan seismological community and TWGrid. • SeisGrid concept is proposed to meet the future need.
